Chongqing Astronautic Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturing Company supplies both quads for adults and kids, too. And they produce motorbikes, as well.
In my opinion, if you want to buy a „moto friend“ for your kid, so kid´s quads will be the best choice. However, there is quite wide variety of terrein or street minibikes in the market, a quad is better, because of prat falls – many falls down from the saddle are not good for kid´s driver´s self-confidence. And it could pull kid´s mind down. In addition, children´s quads have a remote control, nowadays, so if you have to stop the quad, because of an urgency, you can.

The price of children´s quads ranges from 9 to 25.000. It depends on a quality and on a producer of the vehicle. Do not buy the cheapest quad nor the most expensive. The cheapest one usually has problems with battery charging. The battery is run down after some statrs. It forces you to carry one more battery to terrein or a battery jumb cable.

There is an adjustable stop accelerator, you can regulate a power of the quad, which helps with kid´s driving orientation. So, you do not worry about prat falls.

I have found out after a quad Bashan BS200S-7 purchase that the investment into steps won´t be so expensive, but neccessary. I have found out during the driving in rough, moody and boogy terrain that my leg can slip down the footboard direct under the back. I´m not sure if the description of an injury is neccessary here J and that was the reason why I have bought the steps and install them on.

The installation of the steps is not neccessary to describe, everyone manages it. It´s very easy.

I am still thinking about a purchace of Racing CDI. However, I believe that it can scrounge some more power, the question is, how long would the engine keep. Or speeder rotations? If you have an experience with this adjustment, please, let me know and we will share it with the others.

I think the original gear of „twohundred“ like Bashan BS200S-7 is fully enough for a power and a speed, as well. But if you do any of the adjustments I have mentioned before, you will find out the gear tunning ( or only it´s modifying ) will be quite neccessary. You will realize the original gear is too short and needlessly thick. You drive in a maximal speed on the road and the engine is needlessly runaway and noisy and the consumption grows up. And this was the reason why I have bought a primary sprocket with 16 bits. A bigger sprocket does not match there and that´s a pity, because of a tunning engine. That´s why I am looking for any information about a suitable patera. I won´t describe the intaslation, because it´s easy and everyone manages it without any problems.

After a quad purchase there were breaks that I´ve mind it. Staff that´s the break control over by the foot lever for all wheels. I was used to use the forward and the backward breaks separately. And that was the reason why I have decided for break tunning.
tools: cross-head screwdriver, number 9 and 14 spanner.
Firstly I have bought forward break lever with a bowl and a stop light switch from Yuki enduro. Firstly you should undo an accelerator and than the break lever out off the steering handlebar. You can put the back break parking cable assembly off, as well. Now you can install your new forward lever.
You should loose a flow screw of the armoured hose by the break cylinder of the footbreak where is a break fluid. Disconnect the hose of forward breaks. And now we have 2 possibilities for next process : Either you can buy a shorter flow screw or one eye flow ( fill the tube gap – blind it ), which is cheaper ( see picture 1 ).

Pull the forward armoured hose through the fraim towards the new front lever. You should try the turning if there is no strain. And after the bolting we can pour the break fluid into the bowl. The long process of deaerating can start. Press the lever as long as the break pressure appears. Wait for a congelation, press the lever by one hand and use your second hand for loosing the deaerting screw on the left wheel - but for only a very short moment. (see picture 3 ). Good advice – put a transparent hose on to see how the air is going out. Repeat this process until the bubles stop going out.
This adjustment was very helpfull both on the road and in the terrein for myself. Perfect for blustering if your quad is going to skid.

I think the undo and instalation of a tunning exhaust is so easy for beginers, as well. The only thing to notice is the name of exhaust label – SLK and there was no problem with it.

You will add more power by the instalation of a tunning exhaust and pretty quick acceleration and you will feel the canine appetite of the engine to go into the rotation speed. And the sound is great! See my video. By the way, the original exhaust has the cathalyst which takes the power off.

I would like to give a brief instruction in this section how to get more horse-power from the quad Basnan BS200S-7.
There is 98 basic jet in it and this is not enough for a good power. But I wanted more and that´s why I´ve decidet to change jets for the horsepower improving – I´ve changed the basic jet for Škoda Favorit´s one with a label 125.

tool: number 8 and 10 spanner, cross-head screwdriver.

Take the saddle off and undo the gum cover. The forward screw bolt only. Uncover it towards back wheels. Firsty, take the air filter off with it´s plastic cover. Than loose the cross-head screw on the carburetter and take a bowden choke with a lever system out. ( see picture 1 ). Now undo the screw female with a bowden accelerator and lift the inside of the carburetter. Loose both screw females keeping a carburetter and we can jack it up for turning it for float-chamber loosing.( see picture 3 ).
You can see the carburetter main jet now. Change it for Škoda 125 jet. Install it.
If you add more fuel, there must be more air, as well. I´ve done it by taking the air filter cover off. But what is really neccessary – take a hose for motor air sucking out of a plastic cover and install it into a forward part of air filter. ( see picture 2 ). Lastly, adjust the carboretter. Take the lid off ( see picture 4 ), move a needle on a carburetter slide to the last notch from up. Do it, in the other way, the engine will have bad reaction and there will be a point gap after an acceleration.

Investment: not too much, the jet is gainable in car breaker´s yard.
